Colourful Watercolor Tags with Textured Sea Creatures
Hi there! Today we have an inspirational share from our Archives (this was already posted years ago on our old blog). As the project of Veronica is so so beautiful we thought it has to be published here, too!
Veronica made some super pretty watercolor tags with stamps from Mixed Media Marks 1, Grungy Butterflies and our stamp set of the month: the Textured Sea Creatures! It’s 10% off in July!
The tags have a fun shape, which is made with a cutting die from watercolor paper. Veronica added some colour with watercolor pigments (Lindy’s Magicals – similar to Brushos)
Once the tags were dry she did some fun background stamping with Mixed Media Marks 1 (here in the rubber version), inked the edges in black and applied some Distress Texture Paste.
The focal images are stamped in black ink and also coloured with the pigment powders. Veronica cut them out and adhered them to the tags together with some more embellishments.
