Mixed Media Card with Sketchy Flowers

Hi friends!! Josi Tomàs (@elbauldegiulietta) greets you to show you a once again a very simple and quick tutorial that results in a beautiful card.

I hope you enjoy the flowers and fresh colors as much as I do. It shows that the cold has not yet reached my city.

I have created a background of pigments of different colors on a watercolor paper. With the same tones I have painted the flowers and I have cute it.

With permanent gray ink, I stamp some branches and go over them with a graphite pencil and painted with white Posca marker to highlight. I have also tamped letters with black ink.

Finally I have torn a flower patterned paper that had the same colors as my background on watercolor paper and I have glued it in the centre of the background.

Usually I choose the paper first and then I loos for the colors of the pigments, sprays, acrylics… In this way it is always coordinated without complications.

I hope you enjoyed it and if you dare t make one by following the tutorial, please share it in the Facebook group we’d love to see it.

See you soon. Hugs!!
