Hello arty friends, how are you? For today’s project I have made an art journal page. I’ve been neglecting my art journals a little bit lately so it’s time to change that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, my tin of scraps is overflowing and I need to use some of them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started by gluing a piece of white paper onto a book page, followed by a variety of other paper scraps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stamped my focal image onto deli paper, some leaves onto gelli prints and the circles onto water colour paper. I coloured in the circles and cut them up into separate rings.<\/p>\n\n\n

After that I arranged all of the elements on my page and glued them down. Stamping the main image onto deli paper allows it to blend into the background a little.<\/p>\n\n\n

I then used a black Posca pen to doodle on the white spaces, added some pops of colour with Distress Crayons, some black around the edges with acrylic paint and an old credit card, some neon pink splatter and a quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think it’s got a bit of a retro vibe!<\/p>\n\n\n
