Hello Crafty Friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Christine with you today for my second project. I chose the beautiful Sketchy Flowers 1<\/a> stamp sheet to make these two bookmarks. An easy creation to make with watercolors. We always need a nice bookmark for our reading and it is also a nice gift to offer on all occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I start by cutting out the bookmarks in thick watercolor paper (7X21cm). Then I stamp the flowers in two different places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After stamping flowers, I color the backgrounds with blue watercolor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the backgrounds are dry, I finish with the flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To finish, I cut a strip of cardstock, the same size as the bookmark, that I stick behind with double-sided tape to consolidate it. I apply a little gray Distress ink on the edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
