Hello arty friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angie here with a mixed media card for you using the Sketchy Birds 2<\/a> stamps together with a fun handmade collage paper background.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

As you know I enjoy mark making and find it’s particularly effective on deli paper as this always blends nicely into your overall design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started by making simple marks with a paintbrush and my watercolours.<\/p>\n\n\n

Once this was dry, I cut a piece and glued it onto a book page, using a glue stick.<\/p>\n\n\n

I stamped the birds onto some coloured pieces of card, cut them out and glued them onto my deli paper\/book page piece, which I then mounted onto a piece of blue card.<\/p>\n\n\n

I coloured the branch brown with a marker pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then stamped the quote onto a spare piece of the blue card, using white embossing powder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally I assembled everything on a blank greeting card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
