Hi there, Susanne here with an abstract mixed media spread using watercolors combined with collage, some background stamping and the bumble bee from our Inky Friends<\/a> stamp set. I did this in a big spiral bound sketchbook containing usual drawing paper. Scroll down for a quick process video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

I lay down some watercolors loosely in blue shades, a lighter and a darker one. I made some splatters with the darker blue at the bottom of the page. Once this was dry I used our lovely Music<\/a> background to add some textured. I then cut out some shapes from collage papers. I used some “left over paint papers”. I adhered the elements to the page. I added some mark making and scribbles with a black watercolor pencil. The bumble bee was directly stamped to the background. I stamped it a second time to a collage piece and then adhered part of it on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
