Abstract Art Journal Collage with Sketchy Leaves Stencil

Hi there, Susanne here with a mixed media spread in my handmade junk art journal using a lot of collage fodder from my stash and also a bit of my handmade washi tape. My focal image is made with our gorgeous Sketchy Leaves Stencil and the gelli plate.

For the background of this page I used handmade collage papers and some handmade washi tape (Video is linked at the bottom of the post). I adhered the papers with a glue stick and covered the whole spread with a layer of clear gesso. As there was already so much going on because of the stamped washi tape and the textured papers I only added some more marks with Neocolors.

To add interest to the black paper on the right side I added some white scribbly writing with a Posca paint pen. I finished the spread by adding a sentiment with words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
