Quick and Easy Abstract Collage in my Art Journal

Hi there, Susanne here with a quick and easy abstract collage that is done in one of my small spiral bound sketchbooks using handpainted/ handstamped papers. My focal image is a leaf stamp from Pencil Marks 3. I love these little art journals as the pages are not very big. This is the perfect size to make some art that takes not too much time.

Mixed Media with Stencil Texture, Acrylic Inks and Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a set of two mixed media icads using stencil texture combined with acrylic inks and collage fodder. I am creating a grungy background by combining bright colors with black ink and some stamping. To finish up the cards I use collage fodder made with our Sketchy Leaves stencils and some words from Mix A Sentiment and Mixed Sentiments 1.

Abstract Mini Collage with Mark Making and Paper Scraps

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a mixed media collage in one of my mini spiral bound art journals that I use to create quick collages. I usually use left over papers on these spreads. For this page I used stamps from our Mix It Up 4 stamp set to give the papers more interesting textures. I also added some mark making with crayons to create more interest. I really love to create pages in these kind of journal, as they don’t take too much time and allow me a creative break even during busy times.

Handmade Journaling Cards with Collage Masterboard – Video Tutorial

Hi everyone! Collage is one of my favourite techniques when it comes to creating! I’m sharing a fun way today on how to make a set of mixed media collage journal cards. They are fabulous to add some pops of colors to any of your journals. You can of course use the same technique to create a masterboard for ATCs, tags or cards.
