Art Journal Page with Stencil Background and Pencil Marks 1

Hi there! Szilvi here with a new art journaling video. I always use leftover paint from my creations. Sometimes I’ll smear different colours on a sheet for weeks to get the base ready, and then make an art journal page. My inspiration for today started from such a base. I stamped a few pieces from Pencil Marks 1 into the background earlier.

I always use contrasts to bring out the colours, so all the colours come to life. To prevent these colours from taking the overall picture in a completely different direction, I use stencils to erase them from the larger surfaces. Today I used the Big Ovals and Scribbles 1 stencils. I used the Mini Ink Dots stencil to further decorate the background. I then chose the leaves of Pencil Marks 1 and the rainbow as the central elements of the page.

Thanks for stopping by for a few minutes. Have a great day!

Hugz,

Szilvi
