Messy Mixed Media Art Journal Collage with Sketchy Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a mixed media collage in my handmade junk art journal using handpainted collage papers, mark making, background stamping and one of our Sketchy Leaves as a focal point. I really love to create pages in this journal, as they don’t take too much time and allow me a creative break even during busy times.

I don’t think much about what I am doing on these kind of pages, I just play and expriment with colours, mark making and building up texture.

I build a sentiment for my spread with words from our Mix A Sentiment 2023 stamp set. I framed the words with a black Posca Pen to make them stand out from the busy background.
