Bright ATCs with Sketchy Flowers and Watercolor Collge Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here with an Artist Trading Card duo using our Sketchy Flowers and Sketchy Leaves stamps for some lovely watercolor collage fodder. On the background I used a bit of collage, a gouache sticks and ink splatters.

To make the botanical ephemera pieces for these cards I stamped the images from Sketchy Flowers 3 and Sketchy Leaves with a light Distress Ink. I then coloured the leaves and flowers in very loosely with watercolors. The inked outlines will almost disappear with the watercolors, so your flowers and leaves look like if they were hand-painted.

To create the background for the cards I covered them in collage bits from my stash that I had left over. I added more layers with a neon pink gouache stick and a yellow gelato. I then arranged some of the cut out botanicals to the cards. Finally I splattered some ink onto the cards.
