Mixed Media ATCs with a Masterboard & Mix It Up 3

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a set of two mixed media artist trading cards using stamps from our Mix It Up 3 set. The card base is cut from a masterboard that I created in mixed media. I started the masterboard with a random collage, added acrylic paints and did some stamping and mark making. Usually this turns out quite messy and doesn’t look like a piece of art, but once you cut it down to smaller pieces it makes a gorgeous background.

ATCs are little art cards which can be made from any type of medium. They measure 2.5″ x 3.5″. Often people are trading them online.

I inked up the edges of each card with a black stamp pad and added some additional background stamping with images from Pencil Marks 5 and Pencil Marks 6.

For the titles I picked some words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set. These are embossed in white to black cardstock.
