Hello arty friends, Angie writing today! I’m sharing a Christmas card with the lovely Textured Christmas Green stamps. We had the first few snowflakes here today, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! This time I dug out this lovely stamp set in order to make a card.
I had a red background in my stash that I’d made using the Marks 1 Stencil and thought it would be perfect for a Christmas themed card.

I stamped my flowers and leaves on a piece of ledger paper – the more patterned ones onto blank areas, and the more open ones onto a piece that had writing on it so they would have varying amounts of texture.

I splattered some gold paint onto my background piece, which I’d cut to a 4×4 in size, added some gold embossed stars and then arranged the flowers and leaves on it. It’s always more pleasing to the eye to work in odd numbers and also going “off the edge”.

I embossed the edges with green embossing powder, matted the red piece onto another piece of ledger paper, and then everything onto a piece of craft card, before I glued it onto my card blank. Finally I added a Christmas Greeting sticker.
I hope you like it.
Until next time,
hugs from Angie x
