Greeting Cards with Gelli Print Collage

Hi there, Susanne here again. I am sharing two greeting cards today with a collage background made with gelli prints. As focal image I am using a bird from Textured Birds and the Bumble Bee from Inky Friends. I love gelli printing and I have way too many prints laying around! How about you? Do you also have too many prints? Here is a nice way on how to use them! Scroll down for two process videos.

I started by adhering different pieces of gelli prints to my cardbases with a glue stick. I then used matching colors to stamp some marks onto the backgrounds. If you like you can add some white paint splatters on top. As the background was already quite colorful I decided to use the focal images just in black an white. On one card I used the bumble bee from Inky Friends and on the other I used one of our Textured Birds. Unfortunately the Textured Birds are no longer availabler in the clear version, but I am linking the rubber plate at the bottom of this post. If you prefer clear stamps you might like our Textured Birds 2.

Here are two video tutorials on how I made the cards:

I hope you like my cards!
