Mini Art Journal Page with Distress Inks & Sketchy Leaves 5

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media art journal page in my mini watercolor journal using Distress Inks and Oxides together with a leaf from our Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil. Scroll down for a quick process video.

I started the page by applying Distress Inks with a mini gelli plate that I mounted to an acrylic block. I used Worn Lipstick and Peeled Paint. I let every layer dry inbetween. As a last ink layer I used Distress Oxide in Broken China. After the background was dry I used images from the Mix It Up 6 stamp set to bring in textured.

To create the focal image I used our Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil together with the gel plate. I shared a video how I made this a while back and you will find it in this post.

I finished the page with a sentiment made with words from our This is Me stamp set.
