Hi there, Susanne here with a new mixed media art journal page using Distress Oxide in black soot. I use different techniques to build up depth. For even more texture and interest I used our Stars stencil and also images form my Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 5 stamp sets. As my focal image I used a fern leave that I’ve made with my Sketchy Leaves 5 stencil.

I really love playing intuitively and abstract with watercolors. You don’t need these sticks to play along, usual watercolors will work just as fine.
