Mixed Media Card with Stencil Background and Mix It Up 7

Hey there, it’s Evi on the blog today sharing a tutorial for a mixed media card with the new Organic 4 Stencil and the new Mix it up 7 stamps.

For this card I started with the background design. I placed the stencil Organic 4 on my Gelli plate and drizzled alcohol inks over it. I placed the stencil on the dried paper again and painted golden paste over it. I then stamped on some of the stamps from the Mix it up 7 set and designed the edge with black thread using the sewing machine.

I stamped and partly coloured various flower stamps and then decided on the black and white version from the Mix it up 7 set and cut them out. I then attached all the details to the card and chose a sentence to go with it.
