Art Journal Page with Pencil Marks 4

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media art journal page with a watercolor background using white embossing together with stamps from Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 7. The lovely flowers from our Pencil Marks 4 sets are used to create the bouquet.

I worked in my mini watercolor journal and started by embossing the text stamp from Mix It Up 4 with white powder. This build a resist against the watercolors I added later. For even more texture I used the numbers from Mix It Up 7 with black permanent ink.
I used watercolors in neon pink, yellow, green and black shades to create a loose background. Once that was dry I arranged the flower bouquet. The flowes are stamped onto a watercolor background with black embossing powder. I cut the vase also from a piece of watercolor background.
For the sentiment I used stamps from This Is Me and Mix A Sentiment.

To make each flower look a bit different you can bend the stem of them when adhering them to the acrylic block! In that way you can create a great bouquet.
