Mixed Media Pocket Journaling with Pencil Marks 8

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media spread in my pocket junk art journal using mark making and collage fodder made with Pencil Marks 8. Scroll down for a video tutorial.

My pocket journal is made from left over papers, that I have from gelli printing sessions or from using up left over paints. There is a video tutorial on how to make these kind of journals available and I am going to link it at the end of the post.

I started the page by adhering a bit of handmade Washi Tape (video is linked below). I added some marks with a black Stabilo All pencil and used a fluorescent acrylic ink in pink. I also picked a dark greenish-blue Neocolor II and did some marks here and there.
To bring in even more depth I worked with white acrylic paint and our Wheels stencil.
As my focal point I used a collage fodder element that I had already in my stash. It is made from gelli prints and one of the leaves from Pencil Marks 8. I applied some orange Neocolor II to the right, so it works well with the orange that was on the ephemera piece.
As the right side felt quite empty I adhered a the single leaf from the same set to the bottom. It is embossed in black to a gelli print.
