Mixed Media Tag with Textured Birds
Hi, it’s Hege here! Today I’ll share a mixed media tag made with modeling paste, the Wheels stencil and acrylic paint, embellished with stamped images from Textured Birds 2 and Collage Leaves 2.
I love to get my hands “dirty” with paint, – but if you don`t share my enthusiasm, feel free to use a paint brush or wear disposable gloves!
Apply modeling paste on to “corners” of the tag through a stencil, and let it dry
Apply acrylic paint with your fingers (or paint brush)
Stamp on the background. I used blue archival ink
Colour flower/branch-stamps with watercolourpaint
Here is the elements i used on the tag. The pink circle is a piece of gelliprinted paper. The bird is one of the paper-piecing-birds I made earlier
A close-up. The modeling paste and acrylic paint makes a cool effect!
