Gelli Printed ATCs with Flowers

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with a tutorial for artist trading cards (ATCs) using Gelli prints and flowers from Sketchy Flowers 3 and Doodle Flowers 2 as my focal images

I took two Gelli prints and cut them down to ATC size (2.5″ x 3.5″) – central piece matted on a larger one. For background stamping I used the Mix It Up 5 set, using complementary coloured Distress Oxide inks in a similar colour.

Some stamping was heat embossed to add texture. The mini heart stamps are from the Doodle Flowers 2 set, heat embossed in white.

To bring the ATCs together, I added white splatters with a Posca acrylic pen to link with the mini white hearts, and added white embroidery thread behind the flowers.

As is my wont 😁 I stitched around the edges and added sequins & crystals in complementary colours. I couldn’t resist extra bling with a Wink of Stella on the flower centres.
