Take Your Gel Prints to the next Level

Hi there, Susanne here with a fun tutorial on how to pimp your gelli prints and make some amazing layered mixed media backgrounds with embossing powder and our Carved Collection 6 and Weed Love 2025 stamp sets.

I love making my own papers for cardmaking, scrapbooking or other papercrafts! One of my favourite ways to make them is with the Gelli Plate. Often it happens, that I have a lot of prints, but then I am not sure what to do with them or I think they are a bit boring. Today I’m going to walk you through the process of bringing some of my gel prints to the next level, by layering stamped images and some glitter embossing powders! I plan to use all of them on greeting cards, but of course you can make backgrounds for other paper projects in the same way. For example, artist trading cards, gift tags or journal pages.
In addition to our Carved Collection 6 and Weed Love 2025 stamp sets I also use images from Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 6.
