Mixed Media Card using Mix it up 4 and Sketchy Leaves 6

Hey! It’s Laura on the blog today and I have a fun mixed media greeting card to share with you featuring the Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil and Mix It Up 4 stamp set.

First I created my background and I stamped the grid stamp from the Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp set in white embossing powder and heat set it. I then added some shimmer powder and once it was dry added some black stamping using stamps from Mix It Up 4.

For my focal image I used the Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil. I added embossing ink using a blending brush and added embossing powder and heat set the image. Then I fussy cut it out. I popped it on some foam tape and added a couple of die cuts from my stash behind it. The words were from Mix a Sentiment Stamp set.
