Colourful Greeting Card with Stamps and Stencils

Hi everyone, it’s Hege here with a new card inspiration. I want to show you a colourful card I’ve made using a pre-made background using the Big Triangles and Rainbows 2 stencil and the Mix It Up 4 stamp set.

I first stamped the circle and the border from the Mix It Up 4 stamp set directly on the background. Then I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Loose Florals stamp set on watercolour paper, and coloured them with distress ink and a waterbrush. The flowers and leaves were cut out, and glued together before they were mounted on the background. I finished of with a sentiment, mounted the background on a black mat for contrast and then onto the card base. I love how this turned out!
