First Christmas Card of the Year with XMas Tress

Hi there, Susanne here sharing my first Christmas card this year. I’ve been playing with our Stars and XMas Trees stencils! And you will get a little sneak peek on our upcoming release 😉
For the card backgroud I inked the Stars stencil with some blue ink (I used the Astral Blue Odyssey ink from Ferris Wheel Press) – but you can use any ink you have. A Distress Ink pad will also work just fine! I spritzed some water onto the stencil and then stamped it to mix media paper. I used a kitchen role to soak up the excess of ink before I lifted it from my paper.
My focal images are two trees made with the XMas Trees stencil. The one on the left is done with the gelli plate (video is linked below), the one on the right is made with Distress Oxide in Worn Lipstick and some Distress Embossing Powder.
My sentiment comes with our brand new german card greetings “Kartengrüße“. It is be part of our upcoming release, which will be out soon!

This is the video on how I made the gelli tree:

I hope you like the card! Thanks for stopping by today! xx Susanne
