Art Journaling with Neocolors & Collage

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a new video tutorial! I am playing with Neocolor II Crayons, collage and mark making in my art journal together with stencils, stamps and fodder made with out Sketchy Leaves 7 stencil.

To start my spread I am drawing Neocolors in green shades in a circular shape on my spread and blend it with my fingers. Previously I covered the paper with clear gesso. I am adding some complementary colours once dry. to bring in more interest.
I am adding textured with our Mini Ink Dots stencil using a baby wipe to remove the crayon. For even more mark making I am using a Derwent Inktense Pencil in dark green and some stamps from Pencil Marks 2 and Mix A Sentiment.
I also use black and white ink to make splatters and an acrylic paint marker for some more marks.
For my focal image I am using collage fodder I’ve made with our brand new Sketchy Leaves 7 stencil! There is a video linked at the on how I made these leaves. I adhered it on top of a cluster I made with some handmade Washi Tape and stamps from Stitiching Borders to add some faux sewing.
I finished the spread with a sentiment from our new Collage Leaves 3 stamp set.

Enjoy watching the spread come together:
