Abstract Painting with Mixed Media & Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here with an abstract mixed media painting using all kinds of materials together with different stencils, stamps and a focal image made with our Sketchy Leaves 5.

The background of this abstract painting was done with a fun intuitive process. I used a big sheet of watercolor paper and created four panels with masking tape on it. I then applied all kinds of materials – stamping, liquid watercolors, watercolor pencils, crayons… Once I removed the tape I had left four abstract backgrounds to work on.
To finish this one with a collage fodder piece from Sketchy Leaves 5 and some stencil texture using our Dotted stencil. I also stamped the script stamp from Mix It Up 6 and did some mark making with a Neocolor II crayon.
