ATCs with Distress Ink Background, Pencil Marks 8 and Collage Leaves 3

Hi there, Susanne here with a new tutorial! I am making some artist trading cards (ATCs) with Distress Ink & Oxide backgrounds, our Mini Textures stencil and stamps from Pencil Marks 8 and Collage Leaves 3!
I used our Mini Textures stencil to start my cards. The patterns on the stencil fit the size of an ATC perfectly (2.5 x 3.5inch). So with one background I can make four ATCs. I used Distress Oxides in Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Crushed Olive, Cracked Pistachio, Mustard Seed to ink up the stencil, sprayed it with water and pressed it onto my background paper. I am using Mix Media Paper from Canson.
Once dry I aligned the stencil again and added more colour with a blending brush and Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass.
I shared a video last week on this technique with more backgrounds and different stencils. You will find the video linked at the end of this post.
Once my background was dry I cut the ATCs and added some stamping with images from Mix It Up 7 and created a frame with our Stitching Borders. I finally inked the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.
For the focal images I stamped images from Pencil Marks 8 and Collage Leaves 3, I stamped them with black and clear embossing powder. I coloured in the images with Distress Inks and cut them out.
I also added a title to the ATCs with words from Collage Leaves 3.
