Layered Art Journal Page with Collage Leaves 2

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an art journal page with an inky background, some handmade Washi tape and stamps from Stitching Borders, Mix It Up 6, Mix A Sentiment, Butterflies and Moths and Collage Leaves 2.

I started the page by applying some turquoise ink loosely with a brush. I adhered some handmade collage Washi tape (Video is available within my YouTube Mixed Media Play membership). To make it look more interesting I stamps one of our Stitching Borders to the left. I added some more texture with the script stamp and the numbers from Mix It Up 6. To make everything more vibrant I made some ink splatters.
As my focal point I picked an image from our Collage Leaves 2 stamp set. It is embossed in black to a gelli print. I adhered one of our Butterflies and Moths images to build up more depth. This one was also stamped to a gelli printed paper.
My sentiment is made with some words from Mix A Sentiment .
