Art Journal Tutorial with Pencil Marks 6

Hi there, Szilvi here! Today, I’ve brought you an art journal page created using watercolors and acrylics together with stamps from Pencil Marks 6 and the Small Ink Dots stencil.

And you can see the process of its creation in the video below. This journal isn’t made from watercolor paper, so I prepared the page beforehand by applying a thin layer of gesso. After it dried, I colored the page with various shades of watercolors. Following that, I stamped the flowers from the Pencil Marks 6 set. The imprints don’t need to be perfect! I filled the space between them with black acrylic paint and then loosely doodled around the shapes of the flowers with a white Posca pen. Later, I also did this with a black marker just to add a bit more excitement. I stamped around the page with the remaining pieces from the set, and finally, I added movement with the Small Ink Dots stencil. Hope you like it!
