Mixed Media Tags with Acrylic Inks and Collage Fodder

I cut the tags from watercolor paper and added some background stamping with images from our Pencil Marks 7 stamp set. Before I added acrylic inks in neon pink and raw sienna I applied a few spots of heavy gesso and let that dry. This gives a nice and intersting texture once the inks are on top. After everything was dry I decided to add a little bit more stamping with the ticket from Mixed Media Marks 1 .

Before I’m adding my main images I scribbled some marks with a black watercolor pencil to the background. My focal images for the tags are made with our new Sketchy Leaves 4 stencil and the gel plate. It’s a super fun technique and I will link up a video tutorial on how to do this underneath!
