ATCs using the NEW Butterflies and Moths stamp set

Hey everyone! It’s Laura in the blog today and I have some inspiration to share with you using the new Butterflies and Moths stamp set. I decided to create some ATCs for my inspiration post this month because I love working with a small piece of card. I find it helps get the creative juices flowing and it also is a great way to explore new products and colours schemes too!

I first did some ink smooshing using distress oxides. I used Evergreen Bough, Picked Raspberry and Saltwater Taffy. I then used the Cross It stencil to add some more detail to the background. I used the Mixed Media Marks 1 stamp set to add detail using Uncharted Mariner distress oxide and then I added some black splatters and edged the ATCs using Black Soot Distress Oxide.

I stamped out the butterflies from the Butterflies and Moths stamp set in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink and then water coloured them and fussy cut them out. I added some black cotton thread behind them for texture and then popped them on some foam tape. I added words form the Mix a Sentiment Stamp set which I white heat embossed on black card and that finished my ATCs.
