Abstract Painting with Mark Making, Stencil Texture and Weed Love

Hi there, Susanne here with an abstract mixed media painting using all kinds of materials together with stenciling, mark making and stamps from Weed Love 2025 and Mix It Up 7.

The background of this abstract painting was done with a fun intuitive process. I used a big sheet of watercolor paper and created four panels with masking tape on it. I then applied all kinds of materials – from gouache over pencil to crayons, even stencil texture using our Dotted stencil. Once I removed the tape I had left four abstract backgrounds to work on.

For this one I used images from Weed Love 2025 and Mix It Up 7 and to finish it. I also made some marks with a turquoise Neocolor II crayon.
