Abstract Art Journal Collage with Sketchy Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here with an easy and playful art journal collage using gelli prints, acrylic inks and a botanical image from our Sketchy Leaves stamp set. There are just a few of the clear version left of this set, they will be retired once they are gone! So grab your’s now!

I am working in one of my mini spiral bound art journals. It measures only 10 x 10 cm, this is a perfect size to create something quickly! I adhered some collage papers with a gluestick first and then intuitively applied some acrylic inks in transparent burnt sienna and prussian blue. I added some white ink to create a highlight and contrast. For a bit more interest on the background I used a ticket stamp from our Mix It Up 2 stamp set. As my focal image I stamped one of the Sketchy Leaves images to a watercolor background with embossing ink. I used white powder to make it stand out.
