Abstract Collage with handmade Papers and Sketchy Leaves

Hi there, Susanne here with an abstract mixed media art piece using some of my handmade collage papers combined with a botanical stamp from Sketchy Leaves. I started this spread by on a piece of watercolor paper that had already some abstract acrylic ink shapes in magenta, burnt sienna and green on it.

I adhered collage paper pieces on top that I had already in my stash. To seal the papers I used mat medium to glue them down. After this was dry I picked a simple focal image which I have done by stamping one of the botanical images of the Sketchy Leaves stamps set with white acrylic paint to a green painted paper. To finish it up I did some mark making with a green Neocolor and stamped the numbers (from Mix It Up 1) with acrylic paint.
