Abstract Collage Trio with Sketchy Flowers 3 and Gelli Prints

Hi there, Susanne here with a little collection of abstract collage that I’ve made with gelli prints, a bit of paint and mark making. On all three I used a focal image from our Sketchy Flowers 3 stamp set.

I worked on all three collages at the same time, so I had something to do when the other painting was drying.
I adhered collage paper pieces (mainly gelli prints) onto some watercolor paper. I used mat medium to glue them down. After this was dry I added some white paint with a catalyst blade. Whilst this was drying I stamped my focal images with white acrylic paint onto a dark background. When you stamp with acrylics make sure to clean your stamps well afterwards! Once everything was dry I adhered some stamped tissue (Mixed Media Marks 1 – only on two of them) and my focal point on top of my collage using mat medium. I did some mark making with Posca pens on two of them. On the first one I also used a Neocolor II crayon.
