Abstract Collage with Stenciled Focal Point

Hi there, Susanne here! I’m sharing a mixed media collage in one of my smaller spiral bound art journals using left over papers and our Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil image. I really love to create pages in these kind of journal, as they don’t take too much time and allow me a creative break even during busy times.

After I had adhered all the collage papers, I added a little bit of markmaking with Neocolors and stamped a border to the right side of the page. I then stenciled the botanical through the Sketchy Leaves 1 stencil with white acrylc paint using a make up sponge. I used a black posca marker to add in some vains. The title is made with words from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
