Pocket art journal page with Pencil Marks 4

Hi there! It’s Saturday and time for a creative project from our Archive.
We are sharing a creative mixed media art journal page with acrylic paints as a base together with a bunch of our stencils.

I started by applying acrylc paints thin to the pages. After the paint was dry, I stamped on the background with images from the Pencil Marks 4 stamp set. I then decorated my page further with the Big Ovals stencil, followed by the Scribbles 1 stencil (that’s no longer available, but there is a replacement: Scribbles 2). I decorated the edges with a stamp from Stitching Borders. Finally I adhered the flower and leaf, which I coloured very lightly with watercolours.
