Journal Page Inspiration with Inky Mushrooms

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with a tutorial for a mixed media journal page using the Inky Mushrooms stamp set & Organic #3 stencil together wish some collage bits & bobs!

First I blended Distress Oxide ink through the Organic #3 stencil onto my journal page.
Then I added some stamping using the Mix it Up 1 stamp set
and a spot of mark making with a pen lid & metallic champagne ink.

The focal image is from the Inky Mushrooms stamp set, heat embossed and water coloured with Lindy’s Magicals.

I rummaged in my pre-prepared collage stash to find some leaves (created with images from the Loose Florals 2024 stamp set), Gelli print offcuts and a piece of fabric netting.
These pieces were adhered to the journal page and stitching added.

Final embellishments were added using black sequins and Nuvo 3D drops.
