Mini Art Journal Collage with Distress Background & Mark Making

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media art journal page in my mini journal using Distress Inks for the background combined with collage papers made with the gelli plate. The focal image is a fodder piece made with our Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil.

I started the page by adhering plopping down a bit of Distress Ink, that I had left over on my mini gelli plate. I am not sure which colors I used but it looks like Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo. Once dry I added a little bit of stamping with the numbers from Mix It Up 7 and picked a few pieces from my collage scraps, which are mainly gelli prints, and arranged them on the page.
My focal image is a botanical collage ephemera piece that I’ve made with my Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil. I’ll link up a tutorial underneath on how I make this collage fodder.
I finished up the spread with a word from our Mix A Sentiment stamp set.
