Junk Art Journaling with Ink, Collage Fodder & Sketchy Leaves 6

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an art journal page from my handmade junk art journal using collage, inks, mark making and a focal image made with the Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil.

I started this spread by adhering collage papers to the pages. I used handmade papers, like gelli prints and stamped papers. My focal image is a botanical fodder piece made with the Sketchy Leaves 6 stencil. There is a video tutorial linked at the end of the post, on how to make the fodder.

As there was already a lot of texture on the collage paper I’ve used, there was not so much more to do. I added some acrylic ink, colour splatters a title with stamps from Collage Leaves 3. I also added some extra texture to the focal image with a black Posca paint pen. I also adhered a stamped tab and used one of our Stitching Borders to give it a sewn look.
