Hey there, it’s Evi on the Blog today with an autumnal Art Journal Page Tutorial made with the Carved Collection 6 and different stencils. In my art journal, I really enjoy messing around and creating lots of layers. In keeping with the season, I chose autumn colors and used them as Distress Oxide pads, sprays, or shimmer powders.
First, I placed the stencil Stacked ovals on top, sprayed it with water, and then sprinkled the shimmer powder over it.
Then I placed the stencil Small Triangles on top and swiped distress oxide colors over it.
As a third step, I placed the stencil Organic 4 on top and sprayed it with gold and light green spray paint.
I stamped the bird, flower and leaves from the set Carved Collection 6and embossed them with gold-colored embossing powder and cut them out. Unfortunately I made a little mess with my embossing powder on the center of the flower – but I don’t mind.
I applied some textured paste over the Stencil Dotted and stamped two text stamps in various places.
I glued all the cut-out pieces in place and tacked a lace border to the bottom section.
