Mini Art Journal Collage with Distress Background and Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here sharing a mixed media art journal page in my mini journal using Distress Inks for the background combined with collage papers made with the gelli plate, stamps from Mix It Up 4 and a botanical focal point made with Sketchy Leaves 6.

I started the page by adhering plopping down a bit of Distress Ink, that I had left over on my mini gelli plate. I am not sure which colors I used but it looks like Rusty Hinge and Seedles Preserves (Oxide Version). Once dry I added a little bit of stamping with images from Mix It Up 4 and picked a piece from my collage scraps, which are mainly gelli prints. I made a focal point with the masks from our Sketchy Leaves 6 on the gelli plate.
I finished up the spread with some bright mark makings with Neocolors and acrylic paint pens. For my title I added a little tab with the word journey.
