Mixed Media Spread with Gelli Print

Lindsey (doodlings_cards) here with a tutorial for a mixed media spread using a Gelli print decorated with stamps from the Mix it Up 5 set and a focal image from the Inky Flowers set.

The Gelli print was made with the recently released Ornament stencil. You can see the process in my blog post HERE.

I chose the Mix it Up 5 set to add depth and interest to the background, heat embossing the wonderful “harlequin” style stamp in cream.

The “stitch” stamp was heat embossed in yellow and I stamped the wording from the “carte” stamp in VersaFine grey ink.

I chose a watercoloured flower from from the Inky Flowers set.as my focal image. Nearly all my creations feature my trademark stitching – and this was no exception! 😁
