Art Journaling with Neocolors & Collage Fodder using Pencil Marks 8

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an art journaling video using the collage ephemera pieces I made in one of my last videos. I’m playing with Neocolor II crayons and our brand new stamp sets: Pencil Marks 8 and Mix It Up 7. Scroll down for the video!

I started the page by laying down Neocolors II and blending them with water and my fingers. I picked colors that were matching the focal image that I’ve picked, which was this one:

It’s created with collage paper scraps and stamps from our Pencil Marks 8, Mix It Up 7 and Mix A Sentiment stamp sets.

I applied the crayons in a circular shape and added some mark makings using the crayons, acrylic paint markers and stamps from Mix It Up 7 . To balance out the focal point I picked one of the butterflies from Pencil Marks 8.
