Art Journal Tutorial with Collages Leaves 2 and a Stencil Background

Hello everyone.

It’s Sixela on the blog today with a step by step art journaling tutorial. To make this page I used the Rubber Dance Collage Leaves 2 and Pencil Marks 7 stamps together with the Marks 3 and Small Triangles stencils.

At first I applied opera pink and indigo watercolor using the Marks 3 stencil.

I then flipped the stencil on my page to use the remaining watercolor, too. Then I made splatters with the opera pink watercolor.

Once the background was dry I applied watergreen acrylic paint with the Small Triangles stencil and using an old credit card.

I then stamped a pattern on the Pencil Marks 7 board with black Versafine and made splatters with a black Neocolors 2.

Then I stamped several foliage from the Collage Leaves 2 onto white bristol and then cut them out with tweezers. To finish everything I glued the foliage down and the title “start somewhere”

Here are a couple of close-ups:

I wish you a very nice day.
