Easy Art Journal Page with Botanical Collage Fodder

Hi there, Susanne here sharing an easy art journal page today using watercolors for the background, some handmade washi tape and botanical collage fodder made with Sketchy Leaves 7.

I started this pages with a light layer of watercolors in a greenish turquoise shade. Once dry I adhered some handmade collage washi tape. I made this tape from gummed paper tape and some left over collage papers. I glued the scraps down and added some layers of stenciling with Mini Ink Dots, different mark makings and stamps from Mix It Up 4 and Mix It Up 7. There is a video tutorial available for this spread and for the washi tape in my YouTube membership for Mixed Media Play tier members.
The sentiment is from our Collage Leaves 3 stamp set. To finish it up I added some black splatters.
