Art Journal Page with Pencil Marks 6

Lindsey (@doodlings_cards) with you and another mixed media project using the Pencil Marks 6 stamp set – I can’t get enough of it! 😁 The stamp set has several background images as well as lots of glorious flowers for focal images. I’ve created an art journal page for you today using my Gansai Tambi watercolours together with some collage fodder.

For the focal point of the page I picked one of the lovely coneflowers and water-coloured it in purple hues.

Then I had lots of fun creating “collage element” stickers using background stamps from the Pencil Marks 1 and Mixed Media Marks 1 sets.

I used the Organic 2 stencil to create a soft texture on my page first. Then added one of my collage stickers and gelli paper strips.

Next I used various background stamps from the Pencil Marks 6 and Pencil Marks 1 sets to create more layers and interest.

Finally some paint splatters, stitching and crystals & pearls for some extra glamour. Job done!
