Art Journal Page with Sketchy Flowers 3 & Stencil Background

Hey there, it’s Evi on the blog again with an art journal page made with different stencils in the background and the Sketchy Flowers 3 as an eye-catcher on vellum.

I started with the stencil Cross It and distress paint spray in a blue tone and then completed it with the stencil Small Triangles and the distress oxide spray in a green tone. I then applied the stencil Marks 3 and painted a texture paste over it.

During the drying time, I stamped the Sketchy Flowers 3 stamp (available as rubber stamp or clear stamp) with embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder on vellum paper. I also stamped the butterflies from the Pencil Marks 8 set with embossing ink and embossed them in white, then I cut them out

To add black accents, I stamped some stamps from the Mix It Up 5 set and then added sprinkles in green, blue and white. Then I glued the words onto black cardstock and attached all the individual parts to the background with small glue dots.
