Playful Art Journal Tutorial with Stencil Background and Inky Flowers

Hello and happy tuesday from Åshild! I hope you’re having a good day so far.

Today it’s my time to share some inspiration, and this playful (and crazy) art journal spread is a proof that creativity tends to live its own life. I am playing with the Cross It stenciI and the lovely Mixed Media Marks 1 and Inky Flowers stamp sets.

I started with a plan, and ended up just following my intuition. To play with mixed media stuff and techniques always surprices me – and I love that!

This spread is made with stencils and stamps from Rubber Dance. I’ve also used spray inks, heat embossing, india ink, texture paste and Distress Inks for coloring. Tissue paper is a great way to create layers.
